Thank you for taking the time to look it up.

OK - I stand corrected and fall on the sword! Back to the drawing. This sketch is not taking into account my last sketch. I am including it and another that I marked up.

Peeky, you have sent the previous comments again..

I have attached the sketch 7, sketch 8, and  coments.

I moved more the crows to the foreground in the sketch 8.

Thanks.

Now we are getting somewhere - sketch 8 is close. Yes I did keep sending the same comments - this was what I was aiming for from the start Ijust couldnt communicate it.

Why did you send the comments when you've got the sketch made according to these comments?

The sketch 8 is close, but it is the furthest from the initial idea "Toto's eye is very visible" (from your comments of 25 July).

It is also further away from the original idea to do all the illustrations in a vertical format with certain white field as we agreed earlier and differs from the general style of the book.

I have attached the illustration in such format with the fields, on which we agreed before (on the left) and the current sketch in narrower format (on the right) for compare. With such narrow format Toto's eye will not work, because it will be very small in this book size.

Thanks.

Me sending you the manticore scene was purely an accident. I am attaching what I meant to send you. For some reason this project has been confusing. The eye was never the focal point. The reaction of the crows to toto opening his eye was the point. I have mentioned and sent text. Toto is supposed to be hanging from the cows nipple so do we need the whole cow? I don't know. I never stressed the scene to be vertical (that I know of). I had always envisioned it landscape.

Look at the image I meant to send you. If you want to try it fine, if not lets scrap this project and move on to another. It is taking both of us too much time. If we scrap it I will pay you more if you feel you are entitled to it.
